The Well Regulated Power Supply LiFePo4 Battery System
The TWRPS-LBS is a complete LiFePo4 battery power supply management system. There are 3 available boards: the power unit TWRPS-LBS-P, the main board TWRPS-LBS-M and the daughter board TWRPS-LBS-D.
The TWRPS-LBS-P is the PSU board intended to recharge the batteries of the main and the daughter boards. It’s controlled by the main board.
Features:
Input: 115-230 VAC
Output voltage:
– linear supply to recharge the batteries of the main and the daughter board
– linear supply to power the TWSAFB-LT FIFO Lite board
– regulated supply to power the oscillators while recharging the batteries, to never shut down the oscillators
Board size: 208mm x 170mm
Suitable box: HiFi 2000 1GX283N GALAXY 283/2U FRONT 3MM BLACK DEPTH 230MM
Board options: bare PCB only
Note: almost all parts are through hole, a few SMD parts only

The TWRPS-LBS-M is the main board intended to supply oscillators, frequency doublers, FIFO buffer and so on. It provides the control for the whole system.
Features:
Input: PSU TWRPS-LBS-P
Output voltage:
– 3.3V to 16.5V, typically for oscillators
– 2x 3.3V to 6.6V, typically for DAC
– 3.3V, for LVCMOS digital devices (for example the clock section of the FIFO)
– 5V 500mA linear regulator to supply other devices like USB to I2S, and so on
Board size: 260mm x 195mm
Board options: finished and semi-finished
Note: supplied without batteries and battery holders
Remote power On-Off
No switching devices or active oscillators during listening
No RF emissions at all (no multiplexed display, microcontroller sleeps in stand-by mode during listening)

The TWRPS-LBS-D is an extra board intended to add more rails to the main board. It’s controlled by the main board processor.
Features:
Input: TWRPS-LBS-M main board
Output voltage:
2x 3.3V to 13.2V, typically for DAC analog stage
Board size: 184mm x 195mm
Board options: finished and semi-finished
Note: supplied without batteries and battery holders
Fits the main board with a single connector
No switching devices or active oscillators during listening
No RF emissions at all (no multiplexed display)
